Banilad-Bacong boundary site of Sendong Housing


The Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC)and the National Housing Authority (NHA) have approved the purchase of properties to be used for the development of resettlement projects for Sendong survivors in Dumaguete. Mayor Manuel Sagrbarria said the 1000 housing units will be placed in a soon to be purchased lot in the Tale property near the Dgte-Bacong boundaries.

The authorities will have to make sure that the new housing site for Sendong flood victims will be away from the flood prone areas and earthquake risk areas. We have yet to know that since we have reports that the Banilad area is a flood stricken area, we have to make sure that the new housing village will be safe from geohazards.

NHA General Manager Atty. Chito M. Cruz said the agency will buy four properties in Cagayan de Oro, two in Iligan and one in Dumaguete for a total amount of P237 million. In Dumaguete the price offered by the Tale family is around 800 per sqauare meter for ten hectares or an approximate total of P80Million more or less. Mayor Sagarbarria said documents are now being prepared by the NHA who will deal directly with the owners, and no middlemen.

"The sites will be subjected to geohazard surveys to ensure that the communities that we will build are safe and environmentally - sustainable," said Vice President Jejomar Binay who is the chairman of the Housing and Urban Development Council.

The NHA also allotted P288.8 million for the construction of 14,709 housing units. Each unit will cost P110,000, of which P40,000 will come from the NHA and P70,000 from the Department of Social Welfare and Development. Those Sendong v ictims who have gone back to the river banks will now be advised to transfer to the new housing site. Those who refuse to leave the river banks will no longer be given any assistance by the government if disaster strikes anew God forbid.

Ok even vanuit de disco een test maar dat gaat nog slechter dan bij mij thuis........

Even off topic maar leuk want hier heb ik vroeger bij van Gelder Papier/Crown in de centrale gewerkt maar dat is allemaal veranderd en deze weg was vroeger de Korverslaan waar een opslag van recycling materials staat en nu een brand..........voor het forumlid AB....

Maar dit gebouw stond er al sedert de jaren '73 (in die buurt) en dat waren de Crown-van Gelder papiermachines 51 en 52, waar in die jaren meestal ponskaartenkarton en pak papier werd gemaakt.

Ik werkte vroeger bij van Gelder papier in de centrale als Ketel/turbine machinist..met een totaal van 45MW aan turbines.

Het bovenstaande  mocht misschien als laatste stuiptrekking?...

De 100000 is gehaald en ik moet er een einde aan maken zoals beloofd en moet op de springplank:
