Vlak voordat de grasscutter vetrok (en het was al donker) riep hij mij en maakte mij er op attend dat er er "steekbeesten" op mijn knijpers onder een afdak zaten en hij noemde een naam, maar ik schonk niet Veel aandacht en zei: "Ok, Lampiniks en die steken geen klootzakken "

Maar bij verdere controle dacht ik NEE dat zijn inderdaad geen Lampiniks maar een soort lange vliegen van ongeveer 2 cm.
Dus is nu het probleem welke naam en mijn partner hier weet ook geen naam maar ze zei dat het gevaarlijke beesies zijn als ze steken  





Gaarne uw advies betreffende de naam en beschrijving van deze "monsters"

I wasn't sure who to contact, so I decided that perhaps the people should be aware of a situation that is occurring to foreign tourists who come to Negros Oriental for a holiday. My wife is a Filipina, and upon us coming home for Christmas last year, we decided that we would all go to Twin Lakes to view what is one of Negros Oriental's premier tourist attractions. Upon arriving at Twin Lakes, I was surprised to learn that the entry fee for foreigners like myself (from Australia) is P100 and P10 for local Filipinos. My concern is not the price per se, as I am aware that as an Australian, it is possible that I may receive a higher income than a local Filipino.

Back home, we have a name for a practice whereby a group from a different culture are treated differently because of their origin. We call it racism. For sure, there are men of means who live in the Philippines who are blessed with great financial wealth (even by dollar standards are millionaires), who would be able to avail of a P10 entry.
Using this logic, this is clearly a "fine" for being a white foreigner. My issue is with the principle of a policy that sets a precedent for charging foreigners more based upon the fact that they appear foreign. If I had Asian skin and kept my mouth shut, I would have passed for a P10 entry, even if I was, say, from Japan and a man of financial means. Negros Tourism needs to be aware that this practice is happening.
Practices such as these left unchecked result in a conclusion whereby different prices are set for foreigners everywhere.
We really want to come and see your beautiful province without being singled out and taken advantage of in ways such as this. Negros Oriental truly is a beautiful place and I know that many of my peers would love to see it. This letter is just something to think about of. If Negros Oriental truly hopes to become the tourism draw card that the people hope for, then the people (tourists) need to be made feel welcome. They don't need to be fined for being white.

Entrance fees on protected eco-tourism tourist spot not 'discriminatory'- DENR

DUMAGUETE CITY, Apr. 15 (PIA) -- The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) here has stressed that the entrance fees being collected at the protected natural park Twin Lakes in Sibulan town, Negros Oriental are not discriminatory in the wake of allegations from a foreign tourist who cried foul over the varying fees imposed for locals and non-locals.


Viernov Grefalde of DENR said the P100 fee is a general admission fee and is imposed not only on foreigners but for all non-Negrense residents who wish to step inside the preserved eco-tourism park.


A local weekly paper published in its March 20 issue a letter from a male Australian tourist named Allen White who, after a visit to the Twin Lakes in Sibulan town with his Filipina wife during Christmas last year, described the fees as "racism". "My issue is with the principle of a policy that sets a precedent for charging foreigners more based upon the fact that they appear foreign," White wrote in his letter.


Grefalde said that White may have been "misinformed" about the fees during his visit to the lake as there are no special fees for foreigners. "The 100-peso fee is the general admission cost, it is not exclusively for foreigners but for all visitors who are not from Negros Oriental," he told the Philippine Information Agency in an interview.


Residents of Negros Oriental are given a discounted fee of P10 called the "local privilege fee" which they can only avail of if they show an ID, he said.


Grefalde explained that the fees were formulated by the Protected Area Management Board (PAMB) and are being collected since year 2000 to cover the expenses needed to run the 8,000-hectare stretch of natural park, which is thrice the size of Dumaguete City.


The board only recommended said fees to DENR and the Environment Secretary at that time approved them, he said.


PAMB is a 23-member board chaired by DENR which oversees the operations of the Twin Lakes. Among its members include the Provincial Planning and Development Office, the Sibulan mayor, barangay captains, representatives from non-government organizations, academe, Center for Tropical Studies (Centrop) and former DENR Secretary Dr. Angel C. Alcala.


The creation of PAMBs are provided for under Republic Act 7586 or the National Integrated Protected Areas System (NIPAS). The board is tasked to manage and supervise the protected areas in the country.


Grefalde explained that the fees collected by PAMB go to the lake's operational and upkeep expenses such as salaries for its 11 personnel and efforts to control or minimize kaingin or slash-and-burn farming around the lake and its environment.


He said that although the fees collected from visitors are augmented by DENR's monthly budget of P60,000, these still are not enough to cover the costs needed to oversee the vast park.


"For salaries alone, we spend P50 thousand a month. Our budget is not enough to pay for the operations of the lake. The actual yearly expenses totals to P900 thousand," said Grefalde.


Lake Balinsasayao is one of two deep-crater freshwater lakes rising 300 meters above sea level located 12 km west of Sibulan, a town six kilometers away from Negros Oriental's capital Dumaguete City. (RMN/PIA Negros Oriental)

Ja, ok Rich en dank voor de tip. Maar er zijn een hoop verschillenden, en ik neem maar aan dat ik dit als leidraad moet nemen?

Inderdaad terwijl ik een foto nam kon ik met de camera toch wel heel erg dichtbij komen (ongeveer 5 cm), maar achteraf gezien een beetje als je niet weet met wat je precies te doen hebt

Wat in geval als ze mij met zijn allen aan zouden vallen?
Dan zou er nu een dode klootzak zijn???

Moet het toch goed in de gaten houden en zo maak je hier altijd wat anders mee met insecten.
Nee ik wil ze niet dodoen want wespen rooien ongedierte uit, maar dan s'avonds toch maar goed uitkijken daar, maar ik zou natuurlijk wel mijn ex vrouw kunnen uitnodigen om de was op te hangen in de loop van de avond?  

Een Klootzak steekt zich altijd in een wespen-nest om zomaar te zeggen.
Maar waarom zitten deze jongens dan niet in een nest s'avonds, maar gewoon op een paar wasknijpers?

Nee ik wil ze niet doden want wespen rooien ongedierte uit,

Hoe rijm je dat met:

ik zou natuurlijk wel mijn ex vrouw kunnen uitnodigen om de was op te hangen

Kun je die beestjes dat aandoen?

Maar waarom zitten deze jongens dan niet in een nest s'avonds, maar gewoon op een paar wasknijpers?

Ik vermoed dat die wespen het hout van de wasknijpers geschikt vinden om hun nest te bouwen.

Dit vond ik hierover op een site:

De werksters schrapen van dood hout wat af en maken er een papje van en plakken het op het nest en laten het goed drogen voordat er een nieuw laagje op wordt geplakt.

Zo groeit het nest laagje voor laagje en van al het verschillend hout kan het nest ook meerdere kleuren krijgen.

Een afgebouwd nest is ongeveer 20 tot 35 cm in doorsnede.

De dikte van het dak is ongeveer 6 cm dik en van de nestwanden tussen 2 tot 3 cm dik.

Niet 1 ingang maar meerdere ingangen.

Met pilaren verbonden ongeveer 8 raten (horizontaal) met in totaal ongeveer 12.000 cellen.

Een wespennest wordt slechts 1 seizoen bewoond.

Ha toen we in  Silay woonde kregen we bij het snoeien van de haag in front ook last van aanvallende zeer agresieve stekende beestjes te doen.

Het leek zo'n beetje op een heel kleine wesp, zelfs onze drivers hadden er schrik van......nie moeilijk want als ze je steken had je er meer dan een week plezier (pijnlijk) van.....en we noemde ze dan ook de killersbee.

Zolang je de haag niet beroerde.....geen probleem maar o wee als je begon te snoeien.

Ze maakte ook een cocon in de haag zoals wespen, uitbranden met gasolin bracht geen aarde aan de dijk.

De foto's hier gepost van de 2 soorten benaderen helemaal niet wat we in onze random hadden zitten.

Onze haag in front hebben we dan maar rustig zen gang laten gaan om de kerk in het middden te houden.

Maar ja er zitten hier van alle soorten en ook de bijen zoals ik die hier zag in een aanval op een restaurant enige weken geleden
